That ad is alot better than the PS3 one. It's good that at the end you could see King Kong so people know you can get good recent blockbuster films on HD-DVD.
The whole add-on thing is a great stratergy if you ask me, it give consumers choice, not making them feel like they are locked into a format.
Bar all us techies I doubt the joe bloggs care much about the lack of HDMI.
I couldn't agree more with Ashley. This ad is simple and gets the point across in a fun way; whereas the PS3 ad we all like to diss was absolutely retarded. And I also like the fact that the consumer has the choice to purchase the add-on or not. At only $200 w/ King Kong, I'll definitely pick one of these up.
