also keep in mind that this survey was in no way scientific. Plus, a not insignificant number of people already have an Xbox 360 making the cost of entry to the HD-DVD market a scant $200 while purchasing a PS3 will cost $5-600.
If MS offered both an HD-DVD and a Bluray add on, I think you'd see completely different results. It's not based on perceived quality or disc features or anything like that, it's simply 'pick your console' and everyone already knows that the blog community has been generally negative in its coverage/reception of the PS3.
