We have been following NuVision's
LED-based DLP for sometime now but it was nice to see it already for sales at CEDIA. Nothing has really changed as it is still a 1080p 52-inch LED powered DLP. The one thing that sets this LED-powered DLP apart from Samsungs is the amount of LEDs. Samsung seems to have a cluster (um, nm) going on with their product as NuVision managed to light the whole HDTV with three LEDs - one for each color. The price has stayed the same too with a MSRP of $4,399.

Really lacking of inputs & outputs
No 1394, no DVI
Very limited distribution through high end ($$) speciality dealers.

Matt,
Looks like a typo on the MSRP, which is $4,399, not $3,499.
Also, HDMI is backwards compatible with DVI interfaces via accessory addapters. Which style of 1394? Very, very few requests for 1394 for recording as recording devices will have ATSC/QAM tuners under the FCC tuner mandate. We prefer specialty dealers as they typically support customers better.
Thanks
