Jennifer Aniston coming to HD DVD in the "The Break-up"
Answer us this? Can you think of a better high-def flesh-tone demo then this movie? We sure can't and if you have seen the film, you know what scene we are talking 'bout. The movie is coming a little later then we had originally indicated but it is on its way nether-the-less. Universal is releasing The Break-Up on October 17, which makes it for another day-and-date release with the normal DVD. The disc is still going to be in hybrid form which should result in extra sales considering the day-and-date release as some people might just choose to spend a few bucks more on this hybrid then the SD version. The suggest retail price is going to be $34.99 but as we all know, that is sure to drop with the release. This title has been added to out Google HD DVD Release Calendar.

Why release a seperate DVD SKU if they are going to release a COMBO SKU? Those wanting just the DVD version can just buy the DVD SKU but those wanting the HD-DVD version are stuck with the HD-DVD SKU at an inflated price.
If they want to push the HD-DVD format then drop the DVD SKU when releasing a COMBO SKU.

That should read "but those wanting the HD-DVD version are stuck with the COMBO SKU at an inflated price."
