Although the 1080p LCD projector is nice, it's the price point on the 720p DLPs that's interesting -- going back to the original watch-impress site, the HC1100 appears to be identically spec'd to the in-stock-now HD1000 -- http://www.mitsubishipresentations.com/products/projectors/HD1000u.html ... MAP $1500 is excellent for 720p from anyone, let alone a 720p DLP (heck, the inFocus SP4805, a well-regarded 480p DLP originally listed at $1500 when it was introduced a year and a half ago).
