TJ, *Smallville* treats the characters with more respect than *Superman Returns* did. *Returns* was just a retread of what Donner had done before with yet again showing Lex Luthor to be a moron instead of a genius businessman of moral questionability as he is shown as on *Smallville.* The domestic box office figures also show that *Returns* was not welcomed by the movie going public, nor is it eagerly awaited for on HD-DVD, DVD, UMD, PPV, iTunes, or Blu-Ray. That's like saying *Ishtar* is eagerly awaited on one's HD format of choice.
*Batman Begins* IS a film that is eagerly awaited for on both HD formats.
