Time Warner to get ESPN2HD & ESPNU soon; NFL Network, not so soon
We have great news for college football and NHRA fans alike, but bad news for NFL fans on Time Warner Cable. First, the good news, Time Warner should have ESPN2HD and ESPNU up and running real soon. A spokesman from the cable company is indicating anywhere from 30-60 days that the stations will launch. Now for the bad, don't expect NFL Network anytime soon. The court battle that has been raging for a few years just ended and NFL fans everywhere won as Time Warner will need to carry the channel but the negotiations are just starting. These things take time. But hey, ESPN2HD is a lot better then nothing.[Thanks, Danny]

TW really sucks at their HD offering. Besides the local HD's (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX), we have INHD, INHD2, HD Net, HD Movies, TNT, Fox Sports, Discovery, HBO, Showtime, and ESPN.
This may sound a lot, but they haven't added any new HD's in over 2 years.

I'm not into sports in the slightest. What about those of us who pay for the movie services? Where is Cinemax, Starz & The Movie Channel in HD? Or Universal HD that they gave us during the Olympics and then took away?

I believe Time Warner owns the cable company I have here in Central Florida: Bright House Networks. This is definitely welcomed news. But, when are they going to add National Geographic HD!? That is the one I want most! ESPN2HD is nice but they don't really offer much outside of MLB coverage. Let's get it going Time Warner (and Bright House)!!

In Orlando TWC is known as Brighthouse. We do have Universal HD, but not Fox Sports Net... no FSN-HD or regular!
Trust me, there is not much I ever watch on Uni-HD.
I agree though... the only movie channels I have are HBO and SHO because they are the only ones with an HD channel.
