Don't worry,It doesnt matter as long as it was shot and mastered on film. Some shows are shot on film then mastered on video which means it cant be remastered in Hi-Def. I could be wrong but im pretty sure thats right. They dont have to use hi-def cameras for that. Paramount is remastering the original Star Trek series in Hi-Def for release on HD DVD because it was shot and edited on film, as well as Enterprise. They cant do that to the other Trek series such as Next Gen or Voyager because they were mastered on video.
