Every single title release and announced on HD-DVD has been 1080P. That's 39 released movies and 72 announcements to date if you are counting. It is only Bluray FUD that makes people think HD-DVD doesn't handle 1080P.Neither player Samsung (Bluray) nor Toshiba (HD-DVD) outputs true 1080P output. The Toshiba takes the 1080P24 on disk and interlaces it to 1080i60. The Samsugn takes the 1080P24 on disk and interlaces it to 1080i60 then deinterlaces it to 1080P24. It is 1080P in marketing only.
