Arrested Development and Enterprise to be on HDNet
Millions of fans were disappointed when FOX canceled Arrested Development. While it's nothing new for HDNet to pick up canceled shows or canceled talent for that matter from the big 4 this are some of the first from FOX or UPN. It will be interesting to see how the quality compares to when the show was originally aired on FOX.At the same time they are also adding Star Trek: Enterprise, which is arguably the worst of the Star Trek genre, but hey it's in HD! We like this show, but we are required to by the geek by-laws. Some fans were lucky enough to catch the final two seasons in HD on their local UPN affiliate, but in some markets their affiliate wasn't up to the task.
Thanks HDNet for continuing to add HD content even if they are the canceled shows. Hey at least it's better than Joan of Arcadia.

I don't understand this statement...
"It will be interesting to see how the quality compares to when the show was originally aired on FOX."

Justin,
Fox isn't know for their HD PQ and it will be interesting to see if it is the source or distribution that degrades the PQ.

FANTASTIC!!!
I only caught Arrested Development in its final season, but since my FOX network doesn't have an HD Feed for us, i only caught it in SD.
I'll say this though, if they put it at some dead slot (see Greg the Bunny and Life on a Stick time slots). This would be great on a Thursday Night. On NBC, My Name is Earl and The Office at 8, then on HDNet Arrested Development back to back episodes at 9. Tuesday nights wouldn't be bad either...

Joan of Arcadia may not be your cup of tea, but it was a show that garnered critical praise over the course of it's two year run. HDNet has done a great job of assembling a line up over the last year. Now if they could just do the same for their movie channel.

Too bad they couldn't secure *Battlestar Galactica* in HD. Maybe they could sign-up as a co-producer to gain the HD rights faster than SciFi's sister channel, Universal HD.

I thought Enterprise was great; a worthy member of the Star Trek family. I didn't get to watch it in true HD, but I WAS able to download the widescreen DivX versions at least. The great thing about all the Trek shows is that they are mostly re-watchable, meaning I can sit down and flip through the stations and find an episode that i have seen, and be very content to watch it. And now that it will be in HD, all the more reason to watch!

Cool beans. I liked Arrested Development, and my local UPN affiliate never got the 'HD' part broadcasted.

Man, I would really love it if Arrested Development was showing with better picture quality than on Fox. Fox's HD totally sucks. :(
