Warner seems close to Blu-ray release
Warner has been backing HD DVD since the beginning and released some of the first titles. While it isn't news that Warner is releasing Blu-ray titles since all but one studio has announced plans to release them.
The question of when on the other hand would be news and this advertisement in this weeks trade magazine leads us to believe it will be soon. When these movies hit the street for Blu-ray it will give us the first REAL opportunity to compare the two formats rather than a studios ability to master HD movies.

Any word if Warners will be using H.264 on their Blu-Ray titles or will they opt for VC-1 like they are currently using on their HD-DVD discs?
Me hopes they'll opt for the better choice, that being H.264.
