Where have you been?

Honestly now, what do they mean by "future proof"? There are already standard and devices out that output 1920x1080 resolution. It fails there. NOTHING outputs 1366x768 resolution, it's not a standard, and never will be. It fails there. Scaling is disgusting and should be the last resort of the truly desperate, but this TV forces you into the category of truly desperate.

What feature in this TV makes it future proof? I thought by saying "future proof" that it would maybe have something like a modular bay for different kinds of connectors developed in the future (you think HDMI is the end of it? No way) you could buy adapters for. But no... it has the connectors to provide for equipment that is firmly entrenched in the present. This TV cowers at the future and will not weather any change better than any other HDTV you could get right now.

OtakuCODE

Comments on Viewsonic updates LCDs with HDMI

I am also seeing Pink with Toshiba upconverting DVD player and ViewSonic 3250w LCD when using HDMI only.
