No 1080p output. Hmmm. Guess the PS3 is not the ultimate bargain BD player everyone thought it was going to be. $599 for a game console that outputs BD @ 1080i vs. Toshiba HD-DVD for $499 that does 1080i as well. I don't play games and don't want a game console that plays movies as an afterthought.
