NBC's US Open coverage will be in high-def

What is the best looking HD sport? Golf (period) Football and hockey just don't hold up against the tranquil beauty of the gentleman's sport. This year we have seen a good amount of high-def golf coverage on CBS but now NBC is getting in the game too. Their June coverage of the event will be in glorious 1080i beauty. The event spans four days and NBC has high-def coverage of all of them.

I'm glad to see that NBC will be showing some HD golf coverage.
I wouldn't call four days of the Masters on CBS a "a good amount of high-def golf coverge on CBS", though. One tournament a year does not a good amount of high-def coverage make.

I don't watch golf much, but I have to agree that it does look absolutely amazing in HD. All outdoors sports and shows need to be in HD, the views are just amazing.
Are you listening Survivor? I don't care if you are on a remote island somewhere, make it work dammit! The scenery looks beautiful, but I can't really be sure because it could just be my SD goggles blinding me.

Now we just have to hope that is dosent rain in NY. If so, we will have the same crappy picture and dropouts like we did at the start of the Olympics.
I hope you guys arent expecting the same PQ as we saw with the Masters on CBS. CBS just does it so much better..
