HP coming to Best Buy's TV department
Best Buy is going to start carrying HP's LCDs and plasmas. These HDTVs are going to start arriving in late April so get your I wonder when other retailers will be getting "new" brands like HP and Oppo? The home electronic market is getting stale and needs some shaking up.

Hmm... My friend told me about the 58" HP DLP the other day and said that I could get a 20% discount through his CPU company's discount program. It is on my list now for getting because of the bang-for-buck factor. But seeing it go to Best Buy may take away the "check out the dope HDTV that I got for cheap!"

Does anyone have a hp tv? If so could you tell me what you think of it and if it can be used as a pc monitor for a htcp. I'm interested because i'm saving for an hdtv and I want it to come with a bunch of inputs, dvi, and hdmi.

I have the LC3700N HP TV and love it. The LCDs are rebranded AQUOS sets, so you know they will be good. They look sharp with their black shiny finish, too.

rob, there's a huge thread on the HP DLPs at http://www.avsforum.com, it will answer your questions and then some. I'm *this* close to pulling the trigger on the 58" 1080p HP, as soon as my TV stand arrives. IMO it's one of the best for HTPC usage. The updated firmware recently released also makes HTPC output look a LOT better.
