If I was looking to move back to california I might consider the job. It looks like they also are looking into optical memory in addition to the optical drive development. It's fairly R&D intensive, not any manufacturing development. That means it'll be a while before this technology could hit consumers hands. It also means it's not proven technology yet so they need more work to see if it's viable at all.
