The problems isn't the lack of HDTV's there's loads about and lots of us have bought them.
The problem is (in the UK at least) a totally lack of HD services to actaully get the content! The main way everyone will get HD is by satalite (bSkyb). They have been advertising the service since before the new year, but they haven't done anything except put up a website saying it's coming.
No prices, no specs and no timetable as to when we'll get it.
The World cup is the biggest sporting event in the world and here in europe the world stops for a few weeks when it takes place. It would really drive HD take-up. But it looks like we're going to miss it in HD!
