Why???? Why in GOD's name would you buy a HD-DVD player when it comes out??? Why?????? Do you have some spare money to throw away? Do you need more drink coasters in your home???

Seriously, I'm not trying to be an A__hole. We can all agree that HD programming is beautiful, an absolutely gorgeous picture. But it's not enough to make me throw my money away on this is made-up bullshit.

This Sony created format war is a mess. I'm not touching either of these two formats with a 10 foot pole, not until the studios settle this crap.
