Home Depot sells something like this for much cheaper, made by Leviton, Heres some at Smarthome.com. They have standard connectors that snap into plates that transfer over cat5. They don't have vga, but they have s-video and rca, the rca I'm sure you could hook up multiple in order to use for component.
