Props to the over 700 HDBeat readers who responded to our poll!
Earlier this week we asked if
and how you record your high-definition content. Over 80% of the voters do record it, leaving just under 20% glued to
their HDTV sets for live programming (not that there's anything wrong with that!).
Cable DVRs are the clear majority here (
although we're hearing some major
issues), followed by
satellite DVR boxes.
Windows Media Center is the winner in the PC recording
space, with double the usage of the WMCE competitors like Sage, Myth and Beyond. We're currently running BeyondTV 4 on
our WMCE machine for review purposes and once we post that, we'll look into the other non-Microsoft options for you as
well. Thanks again for the votes!

Sorry I didn't add my comments before. I was listening to HDBeat Podcast #2 and heard you guys talking about no one listing what "Other" was. I chose "Other" because I use BeyondTV 3. I haven't upgraded to BeyondTV 4 yet.
