Sharp's PN-655 1080p 65-inch LCD
Look out plasma, the big LCDs are on
their way! Sharp super-sizes their latest 1080p LCD, the PN-655, to provide a whopping five-foot, five inch diagonal
display. Don't rush to the local electronics retailer, these are just hitting Japan next month and they're really
geared towards corporate and professional crowd because every office should have 1920 x 1080 progressive
videoconferences. Not many other details in the official press release that we translated from Japanese, but the new
monster LCD is said to have a 700:1 contrast. More to follow unless we
