In a previous post I mentioned that I expect the PS3 to be a sub-par Blu-Ray player, like the PS2's poor DVD player (initial units anyway). If Sony really want's to use the PS3 to leverage the Blu-Ray format as a high-definition video format, they need to stick to one SKU, and make them all video players. Large installed user base means more consumers for your product, which is what the content providers want. I'm betting this won't happen. Then again, there's memory stick, umd, beta...
