Well, one part of me is sad to say MS can have that much influence...but the other part that wants to see HD DVD beat Blu ray and XBOX 360 to beat ps3 is hoping MS pulls it off.

I think there was a good point made that consumers probably won't go to the trouble of setting the computer up to work around the MS operating software...most are a plug and play consumer and want what is easiest.
