Plus you must have two TMDS links once the resolution gets high.  HDMI gave us a smaller connecter and faster performance (5Gbps) and longer cable lengths with the ability to carry audio. <br><br><br><br>UDI should improve on this spec. Locking small connectors, thinner cables, longer length and the first generation spec goes to 16Gbps!  <br><br><br><br>I'm sure there will be other improvements as well. The spec isn't finalized until Mid 2006 so they say so UDI products won't hit until 2007 at the earliest IMO. ]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[hmurchison]]></dc:creator><pubDate>Dec 23rd 2005 10:00AM</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
