Will your next HDTV be a Canon?
We knew that Canon is a primary developer of SED technology; previous reports indicated that Canon partnered with an experienced television manufacturer, namely Toshiba.
Toshiba has already announced its intent to have these bright,
super-high contrast flat sets on the shelves late in 2006. Looks like
Canon will actually have sets on the shelves too, only they won't appear until 2007.The announcement was made at the last month's Canon Expo in Paris, which we apparently didn't get invited too. Fair is fair: I'm holding an HD Beat Expo in my basement next month and we're dissin' Canon. On second thought, we want one of those SED HDTVs so Canon: drop over any time. I'll even clean in advance.

Got my tickets for Vegas in January....I can't wait...I will be running to the Toshiba / Canon booth!
