I'll take these in order:

1. Compensation? You wouldn't do this just for the love of HDTV??? Ok, we're joking. You do get compensated, but each contract is unique to each contributor. Send us your samples and if they're good, we'll get with you on the details. Also: check out Jason's blog posts as he talks about compensation and blogging bliss from time to time! http://calacanis.weblogsinc.com

2. C'mon, if you're reading several hundred great posts a month, surely you can write a hundred! ;) It does take time, but it's worth it!
